We started Planties Down Under from a genuine interest in sustainable living and a love of the idea of becoming a little more self-sufficient.
Living completely off-grid is the dream! But until that day comes, we wanted to find simple ways to bring a little of that lifestyle into everyday Australian homes, even if you don't have a big backyard or consider yourself much of a gardener.
That's where Planties began.
We love the idea of being able to walk into the kitchen and pick fresh herbs, leafy greens, tomatoes or strawberries that you've grown yourself. There's something incredibly satisfying about watching a tiny seedling turn into something you can actually put on your plate. 🌱🍓🍅
Our goal with Planties is to make growing your own food feel simple, achievable and fun, whether you live in a house, unit or apartment.
We're an Australian-owned small business, and we're learning, growing and experimenting right alongside our Planties community.
Our off-grid dream might still be a work in progress, but we're starting one Plantie at a time. 🌿
